Eyelash Enhancements

Eyelash enhancements are implemented through the use of fine lines, placed directly behind the eyelash line, which imprint a darker base and create the illusion of longer, fuller lashes. Will Anthony’s “behind the lash” technique prevents blood vessel perforation, and leaves a soft, natural impression. While this technique includes a spectrum of colors, the illusion is best achieved using a black pigment.

Eyeliner

To create the illusion of a wider, more attractive eye-shape, the lash line is carefully enhanced with permanent cosmetics; this technique is offered in different colors, while black appears as the most prominent choice. The permanent eyeliner can be set within the bottom or top lid line.

Eyebrows

Eyebrows, the eyes’ natural accents, are difficult to maintain over time. This upkeep may lead to over-waxing and/or over-plucking. Permanent eyebrows, however, are an efficient way to achieve the fullness that may become a problem for those diagnosed with hair loss, alopecia, age-related diseases, as well as, those undergoing chemotherapy. Eyebrows are created using small lines that mimic real eyebrow hair; they can be colored and shaped to meet the natural contours of the face.

Lip Liner & Lip Enhancement

A permanent lip liner accentuates, defines, fills out, and/or corrects the client’s smile. This helps to prevent “bleeding lipstick” moments and creates the illusion of fewer wrinkles around the mouth. Various colors and hues are used to permanently accentuate the lips’ shapes and contours. After the initial light coloring, darker hues can be infused, at the client’s request, to give the impression of fuller, more voluminous lips. Lip enhancements are performed to capture a natural look.

General Post-Procedural Expectations

The 1st Month: For the first few days after the initial procedure, the colors will remain dark as the healing process takes place. After approximately 7-10 days, the colors will lighten, seeming to disappear. This is the natural result of skin regeneration and is to be expected. Within 2-3 weeks, the procedure’s effects become noticeable.

The 2nd Month: After the colors have set, an assessment is made as to whether or not another procedure is necessary, in order to darken the treated area. If the touch-up is done too soon, it may cause permanent scarring. All permanent cosmetics receive one free touch-up to meet the individual’s tastes, after the initial month of healing. Future touch-ups are recommended every 3-4 years to maintain maximum color as all permanent cosmetics fade after the initial application due to cellular rejuvenation.

Specific Post Procedural Expectations

Eyeliner & Eyebrows

After the initial eyeliner procedure, the eyeliner will appear to be predominately dark. Over the course of the first 3-6 days, the eyelids will begin to peel. As the skin regenerates and sheds excess pigmentation, the colors will then settle into a lighter shade. The eyeliner may or may not be as thick as the client expects after the first treatment. Accordingly, a secondary procedure, or future touch-ups may be necessary to suit each client’s needs.

Following the first eyebrow procedure, the eyebrows will appear to be dark. The same peeling and regenerating process takes place, as with the eyeliner procedure, and if any adjustments need to be made, the client can utilize a touch-up session. For asymmetrical eyebrow correction, common amongst most people, touch-ups are highly recommended to assure the balance of your facial features.

Lip Procedures

After the initial lip procedure and after the regeneration period of 3-6 days, the lips will appear light due to loss of pigment. Following some lip procedures, the colors may seem to be uneven or vaguely defined; this is adjusted in subsequent touch-ups. It is quite important that one does not peel the excess skin, instead, allowing it to separate on its own to prevent scarring.

Procedures performed by Will Anthony Permanent Cosmetics are carefully monitored to meet each individual’s needs.
